STEP 1: Download the LINGI™ Programme by clicking the link (PLEASE NOTE: The LINGI™ Programme only supports Windows not iOS).

Click on the green block "Lingi Story programme" here to download the programme. Your browser will ask if you want to "Run'' or ''Save''. Click on ''Run''.

STEP 2: Sign in

Once the program is downloaded, you will be greeted with the following screen.

No subscription details will be required from December 2023 onwards. You can now simply proceed to select the sound and upload it to Lingi.

STEP 3: If you have not done this, kindly connect the Lingi to your computer.

Zip open the part where the USB-cable is stored. Connect the USB cable to your computer.

STEP 4: Select a drive

Select the drive (for example E:\ or F:\). If the list is empty, click the green arrows to refresh the list. This refers to Step 1 on the programme screen.

STEP 5: Click on the blue box "Translate a Lingi."

Choose the language (second button) - Afrikaans or English

STEP 6: Transfer

Click the ''Transfer'' button. The process to load a language is initiated. Please be patient while the language is transferred. Once the transfer is completed, you will see a green comment that the transfer was successful. It is now safe to remove the USB cable.
