How long does delivery take?

We dispatch all orders unless otherwise stated within 5 working ays of receiving payment confirmation. We program the Lingi and embroider the t-shirt – it is worth the wait! Keep the dispatch time in mind when ordering the Lingi as a gist. If you pay via credit card we receive payment confirmation automatically as soon as you’ve paid. If you pay via EFT or bank deposit, your order will only be programmed and the t-shirt embroidered once the payment shows in our account. Thereafter we courier via Courier Guy and delivery takes between 2 - 5 working days.

What is a pre-order?

A product on back order means our stock is temporarily depleted and it will take longer before you receive your product. Normally our waiting period is between 4 to 6 weeks, but may vary. Thank you for understanding the challenges of a small business!

What are my delivery fees?

Variable rate depending on the courier service.

What if my delivery is late?

Unforeseen circumstances e.g. strikes, adverse weather, closed roads, any matter related to the Covid-19 pandemic etc. could prolong the delivery time. Kindly note that if unforeseen circumstances are the reason for the ‘late delivery’, this is not a ground for refund or cancellation of the order. However, if your delivery has not been delivered after the estimated times shown above, please contact us with your order number so that we can follow up on the matter.

Returns and exchanges

If I do not want the product?

Unfortunately, we do not accept credits or returns or exchanges as this product has been personalised for you.

If products are damaged on delivery?

Should a product be damaged or missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery/collection, please notify us within 24 hours via email hello@lingi.co.za. We will liaise with you on the options you have. If the option is to return the product, we will inspect the product and repair / replace the product as soon as possible (if such repair is possible/ we have the same product in stock to use as a replacement). If you can, please do take a photo of the damaged item as this helps our packing team improve the way products are sent.

If the product has a defect?

We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of high quality, and in good working order and without defects.

What is a defect?

A defect is a material imperfection that makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances. Please note that there may be normal colour variations that may differ from time to time from the pictures on the website. These will not be considered defective products.

The following will not be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return:

  • aults resulting from normal wear and tear;
  • damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;
  • damage arising from electrical surges or sea/air corrosion;
  • where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the Website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.

When in doubt, we may send the product for a professional opinion on the cause of the defect. For example, a review by an electronic engineer if the electronics have been tampered with. This might prolong the time to assess whether a refund is due or not. We will always communicate our findings in writing and keep you up to date with the process.

Refund?

If you return a defective product to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories and parts that were sold with that product, we are entitled (subject to applicable law) to refuse the return, only to replace the item that you did return, or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and parts and only to credit or refund you in respect of the returned item.

Please note that we only refund the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by EFT will be refunded to your nominated bank account.

Payments and account info

What are my payment options?

You can make payment by the following methods:

  • Credit Card– payments are securely processed.
  • Bank Transfer– you will receive an invoice by email with our bank details and we will dispatch your order once the payment is cleared.
  • Cash Deposit – kindly note there is a 3% surcharge for this payment method.
  • PayJustNow - three interest free instalments. We send the item as soon as you pay the first instalment (depending on availability of stock).
